What is the Golf Premier League?
Golf Premier League (GPL) provides an alternative format based on football club rivalry and the connection between fans and footballing legends and fans' favourites. It offers an opportunity for golfers to become teammates with their footballing idols, and compete as a team against other players and other teams within the league as they go for the Title.
GPL offers a fully-inclusive environment where anyone can join a team and play their part with an exciting format that brings footballing teammates and rivals back together, and with the addition of new teammates from other generations, plus the fans from around the world. This is where the real competition begins.
To get involved we’ve made it super-easy:
- GPL introduces the Team Captains and the Teams for the league
- You register your interest for the Team of your choice (it's free!)
- Watch out for the new Team members being announced
- Catch news, features, and results of when the footballers play their matches
- Watch for your Team’s position in the league as the results from the footballer's matches come in
- GPL Cup staged throughout the Summer as the league concludes
- Group Stages with 24 Teams
- Scheduled fixtures
- Teams qualify for the Last 16
- Knockout stages to the Final
- Predictions, results, stats
